Since its formation in 2008, Solomon’s Knot has moved audiences with the innovation, vitality and potent insights it brings to the performance of Baroque music. The group’s collective of musicians works from memory, developing bold interpretations without the ruling hand of a conductor; its choice of repertoire is equally democratic, open to ideas tabled by any of its members. Wigmore Hall’s Baroque Ensemble in Residence continues to explore landmark compositions and neglected gems with three typically bold programmes this season.
