In 2022 Jonathan was both a prize-winner at the Young Classical Artists Trust and Concert Artists Guild joint International Auditions held at Wigmore Hall, and also nominated as a 2022 Classic FM ‘Rising Star’. Clara Schumann’s songs express contrasting themes of love and longing; intimacy and loss; lightness and darkness. The lyrical melodies translate beautifully to the expressive tones of the clarinet.
