On demand: Brahms' Symphony no. 3

Bergen Philharmonic OrchestraRecorded at Grieg Hall (Grieghallen), Bergen, Norway

The Symphony no. 3 in F major by Johannes Brahms was written in the summer of 1883 at Wiesbaden, nearly six years after he completed his Symphony no. 2. It is the shortest of Brahms' four symphonies, and, some say, the most personal.

Watch the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra perform this piece under the baton of Edward Gardner.

Filmed in September 2016.
