The Creation is an oratorio written by Haydn between 1797 and 1798 and considered by many to be one of his masterpieces. The oratorio depicts and celebrates the creation of the world as described in the Book of Genesis.

Watch it performed by soprano Sarah Tynan, tenor Robert Murray and bass Neal Davies and the Edvard Grieg Choir with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Edward Gardner .
