Jean RondeauHarpsichord

On the occasion of the four hundredth anniversary of Louis Couperin's birth, Jean Rondeau immerses himself in the musician's complete works. Through his Suites, where Baroque dance is at its peak, and some unmeasured Preludes (irregular, therefore perfect for the Trinity), Jean Rondeau pays homage to him by accompanying him with other works by his no less famous nephew François Couperin, the brilliant Jean-Philippe Rameau, and the original Pancrace Royer, who in his "Advice to the Intention of Performers" stated: "As for the performance, I defer to the taste of those who will do me the honor of playing them." For good taste, we can trust Jean Rondeau, definitely one of the best harpsichordists of his time.
