Pablo Sánchez Quinteiro es un apasionado de toda la música clásica, pero muy especialmente de la obra y de la personalidad de Gustav Mahler. Su estudio y su disfrute han llenado y llenan su vida, hasta el punto de que una autoridad como José Luis Pérez de Arteaga lo ha calificado como "fabuloso estudioso mahleriano".
