Pablo Sánchez Quinteiro es un apasionado de toda la música clásica, pero muy especialmente de la obra y de la personalidad de Gustav Mahler. Su estudio y su disfrute han llenado y llenan su vida, hasta el punto de que una autoridad como José Luis Pérez de Arteaga lo ha calificado como "fabuloso estudioso mahleriano". Actualmente es coeditor de la principal web en castellano dedicada a dicho compositor (gustav-mahler.es). Profesionalmente, enseña e investiga neuroanatomía animal en la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela.
