In the Future is an attractive, yet daring programme for twelve dancers, which is tailored to the Junior Company and introduces the stars of the future in a triple bill.
Besides a classical ballet and a new work by a young choreographer, the programme In the Future will include the ballet of the same name created by Hans van Manen in 1986 for Scapino Ballet, which has since also been danced by Stuttgarter Ballett and Introdans Ensemble for Youth. It is the first time that Dutch National Ballet has danced In the Future, which is an energetic, swinging, amusing and surprising work, with wonderfully inventive costumes by Keso Dekker.
