Festival: Les Promenades musicales du Pays d'Auge

July 15th – August 9th, 2020

​The ​Promenades Musicales du Pays d’Auge festival have brought music to Normandie for 25 years, with events taking place in theatres, castles, farms, factories, bocages and mansions.
From July 17 to August 8, international artists and young talents will be showcased with contrasting programming, from baroque to jazz, through classical and opera. Opening in Lisieux with Le Poème harmonique, Richard Galliano (Saint-Pierre sur Dives/Eglise abbatiale), Thomas Dunford and Bruno Philippe (Château de Canon), Julie Depardieu, Juliette Hurel and Hélène Couvert (Honfleur), Sarah Nemtanu and Pierre Fouchenneret (Orbec), Thibault Cauvin (La Roque Baignard/Castle), but also Opus 333, young atypical quartet (Saint-Désir/Usine Axe), I Giardini (Cambremer), Doulce Mémoire (Livarot), François Lazarevitch (Saint-Germain-de-Montgommery), Arnaud Marzorati (Cabourg), the young Quartet A’Dam (Mézidon-Canon), two "Opera Bouffes » (Pont l’Evêque) and many more.

Discover new places, such as the magnificent Axe Factory, the ceramist workshop of Ludivine Heyser, the Forge of Florence Marie in Honfleur. Taste delicious food and don't miss out the conferences about Leonardo da Vinci, the Montgomery, Offenbach and Misia Sert.

For this 25th edition, each event will be a celebration in itself, commemorating the anniversary of an ensemble, an artist, a creator or a place as well.
