Festival: Point Music Festival

Biography

May 23th –  26th, 2019

Four days of pure magic. That feeling of euphoria that you get when you’ve been part of something unique and magnificent. This is the feeling we want all festival visitors to experience, and carry it with them when they leave, as a very special memory. Because Point Music Festival is special. Never before have Gothenburg Concert Hall had such a high-class, extensive and multifaceted programme in such a concentrated form. Throughout the festival, the Concert Hall will be transformed. With sound, lighting and design, we’ll create an atmosphere where anything can happen. An atmosphere where music, dance, performing art and other art forms meet in new, unexpected ways, sweeping the audience into an adventure.

The leitmotif of the festival is a number of powerful stories about being human, and about life itself, often told by female voices.

Four festival days, four world premières, three orchestras, two club nights, a film screening, and some ten concerts…

Point Music Festival is pure magic for everyone.
