This will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of the season because we will have the privilege of celebrating the ninetieth birthday of one of the most prestigious conductors in the world, Zubin Mehta. As part of his commitment to the current social and political context, he will lead the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, an ensemble founded by Edward W. Said and Daniel Barenboim to promote peace between Jews and Palestinians.
They will be accompanied by an extraordinary soloist, the violinist María Dueñas, who possesses a remarkable record of distinctions and awards and stands out as one of the foremost talents on the current international classical music scene.
