Sabine Näher

Sabine Näher, geboren 1963 in Saarbrücken, studierte Rechtswissenschaft, Germanistik, Journalistik und Medienwissenschaft in Saarbrücken, Freiburg im Breisgau und Hannover. Seit 1985 arbeitet sie als freie Autorin für Musikredaktionen der ARD (BR, MDR, SR, WDR sowie DLF, DRadio und DW) sowie diverse Printmedien (u .a. Süddeutsche Zeitung, Gewandhaus Magazin, „Philharmonische Blätter“ der Kölner sowie Dresdner Philharmonie, Bach-Magazin). Zum Schubert- Jahr 1997 sowie zum Schumann-Jahr 2010 hat sie Interviewsammlungen mit den führenden Lied-Interpreten der Zeit veröffentlicht, zum 800. Geburtstag des Leipziger Thomanerchores 2012 eine Portraitreihe ehemaliger „Thomasser“. Nach langjährigen Aufenthalten im Kölner und Münchner Raum lebt und arbeitet die Journalistin seit 2005 in Leipzig. Seit Juli 2015 ist sie aber auch wieder regelmäßig in der oberbayrischen Wahlheimat unterwegs.
