Renowned pianist Sir Stephen Hough has been universally praised for performances described as ‘effortless’, ‘commanding brilliance’ and exhibiting ‘perfect technique’.
He studied at Chetham’s School of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music, and earned a Masters degree from Juilliard. Sir Stephen has appeared with many prestigious orchestras in concert halls and festivals around the world, and has also recorded over 60 albums, receiving international accolades.
He has received numerous honours including a knighthood in 2022 for services to music. His extensive experience on both the concert stage and in the recording studio will serve as a source of insight for RCM pianists during this illuminating masterclass.
