If you’ve seen Amadeus, you’ll already know the myth of Mozart’s Requiem – the masked stranger, the secret commission, the doomed composer. But the music itself is even more incredible, and tonight RSNO Principal Guest Conductor Patrick Hahn joins the RSNO Chorus and a terrific team of guest singers to bring the legend to life. The whole concert is just as haunting – with a rarely heard gem from Beethoven and the superb violinist Carolin Widmann as soloist in Berg’s entrancing concerto.
