Scenes from Tchaikovsky’s heartfelt opera of love, loss and regret come together with music from his best-loved ballets. Swan Lake tells of a beautiful swan princess and her prince’s doomed attempts to save her, while in The Nutcracker, it is Christmas Eve and toy soldiers, sugar plum fairies and military mice come to life.
