Barbara Hannigan, Associate Artist of the London Symphony Orchestra, is joined by the equally perspicacious Bertrand Chamayou. Their all-Messiaen recording, including the French composer’s seductive Chants de terre et de ciel, was among the standout releases of 2024, hailed by the Guardian for the ‘beguiling, soft-edged intimacy’ brought to every phrase by the soprano.
