Samson Tsoy | Piano |
Brahms is close to Samson Tsoy’s heart. The pianist’s solo debut album, released in 2025, included what Gramophone hailed as an ‘especially impressive’ interpretation of the Bach-Brahms Chaconne. His lunchtime programme frames this majestic work with early and late compositions, the lyrical Ballades and the sublime Intermezzi, the latter described by Brahms as ‘three lullabies for my sorrows’.
