Guide to Young Artists & Competitions

Created in 1989, the Liliane Bettencourt Prize for Choral Singing, awarded in partnership with the Académie des Beaux-Arts, recognises French choirs that contribute to the development and influence of this exceptional artistic discipline and repertoire that is too often overlooked. Its 50,000 Euro prize is complemented by support of up to 100,000 Euros for the implementation of a development project. In 2022, the jury chaired by Laurence Equilbey chose La Tempête, created in 2015 and directed by Simon-Pierre Bestion, as recipient for the award.
