As part of the Royal Academy of Music’s Bicentenary celebrations, the Academy Symphony Orchestra and Chorus perform Mahler’s Third Symphony, conducted by our Klemperer Chair of Conducting, Semyon Bychkov, and featuring alumna Stephanie Wake-Edwards in the solo role. In its scale, the work lives up to Mahler’s famed quote: ‘A symphony must be like the world. It must contain everything.’
