Liverpool Cathedral and City Organist Ian Tracey puts the organ into full flight in a spectacular recital featuring Franz von Suppé’s ever popular Poet and Peasant and JS Bach’s iconic Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring. There’ll also be a serene work by the great César Franck and a reimagining of Peter Warlock’s Capriol Suite arranged by Ian, before we hear Théodore Dubois’ Toccata – a powerful, intricate work that pulls out all the stops.
