The Teatro Real begins its 19/20 season with Don Carlo by Giuseppe Verdi, which returns fourteen years after its last presentation, in May of 2005. A magnificent staging proposal by David McVicar, accompanied by conductor Nicola Luisotti, (principal conductor invited by the Teatro Real), who will lead three different top level casts with singers such as Ainhoa Arteta, María Agresta, Francesco Meli or Silvia Tro Santafé, among others.
