A Juilliard graduate and winner of the 2025 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition, Kortum has graced some of the world’s most legendary jazz stages including Birdland, Blue Note, Mezzrow, and Dizzy’s Club. She has collaborated with masters like Bryan Carter, Peter Bernstein, and Wynton Marsalis. Her debut album, Good Woman, reinvents male-penned jazz standards through bold arrangements and a unique female perspective. It received over one million streams in its first month and has now surpassed 3.5 million, cementing her status as a thrilling new force in jazz.
