Argentine pianist Nelson Goerner’s artistry has beguiled audiences at Wigmore Hall and other global centres of musical excellence since the early 1990s. His latest programme embraces the improvisatory freedom of JS Bach’s Toccata in C minor BWV911, with its surprising inventive twists and turns, the emotional switchback ride of Robert Schumann’s Fantasie and the passionate drama of Schubert’s Piano Sonata in C minor D958, composed in the last year of his life.
