Ensemble Klang has seized upon these anniversaries to bring this iconic work to Dutch stages as part of an international collaboration with United Instruments of Lucilin from Luxembourg.
In doing so, they combine Gordon’s Trance with new works by Calliope Tsoupaki and David Fennessy, written for the same striking line-up: 23 amplified musicians on keyboards, trumpets, trombones, guitars, pan flutes and saxophones. A line-up with enormous impact, rooted in the Netherlands and The Hague, as well as in Louis Andriessen’s Hoketus.
This performance of Trance promises to be a truly exceptional experience for the audience.
