The internet is the new church, the smartphone seems to be everyone's God. In addition to that fact, Bach's St Matthew Passion is a comforting phenomenon. The Dutch St Matthew tradition is a unique phenomenon: in the weeks leading up to Easter, the work is performed hundreds of times. This is also the case in our Main Hall by Ton Koopman and his Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra.
