Hadra Immersive

Hadra Immersive was one of the highlights of Le Guess Who? 2024, with reviews describing it as an enchanting and transcendent experience that guided visitors towards a spiritual climax through music, water and light. A unique, multidisciplinary show that blurred the lines between audience and artist, it evoked the atmosphere of a traditional Moroccan ceremony. More than just a concert, it is a ritual: a collective immersion during which time, space and identity momentarily dissolve.

With Hadra Immersive, the Amsterdams Andalusisch Orkest (Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra) marks its 15th anniversary. In recent years, the orchestra has consistently performed to sold-out audiences at the Muziekgebouw with a wide range of programmes: from a tribute to Umm Kulthum to collaborations with Sami Yusuf and Cappella Amsterdam. At the Muziekgebouw, the Dutch National Opera and De Meervaart.
