This is a unique opportunity to experience the film as you’ve never seen or heard it before, with an orchestra performing the famous soundtrack live on authentic 18th-century instruments.
If you’ve always wanted to know what opera looked and sounded like live in the 18th century, this is your chance! Farinelli—the stage name of the 18th-century Italian castrato Carlo Broschi—was undeniably one of the greatest singers in the history of opera, with a vocal range and technique that few other singers have ever matched. Together with his brother, composer Ricardo Broschi, Farinelli enjoyed immense fame at the royal courts and in the concert halls of Europe, idolized and adored as a true 18th-century rock star.
