Jaren Ziegler, Viola, Kasparas Mikužis, Piano: Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Manuel de Falla

In 2022, violist Jaren Ziegler made history at the BBC Young Musician competition, becoming the first violist ever to win the Strings Final, aged just 16. His duo partner, Lithuanian-born pianist Kasparas Mikužis, has performed at venues including the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Lithuanian National Philharmonic. Both are YCAT artists and both were named Classic FM Rising Stars for 2025. Together they bring a richly varied programme that showcases the full expressive range of the viola.
