The Young Dutch Artists series puts the spotlight on exceptional musical talent from the Netherlands. Tonight, pianist Thijs Willers. 'During my debut recital at The Concertgebouw, I want to play pieces that are close to my heart, while also choosing different styles that complement each other well.' Willers takes the listener on a journey through the drama of Mendelssohn and Beethoven and the poetry of Scriabin, Brahms and Debussy.
