The Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos' masterpiece Bachianas Brasileiras includes nine movements that fully showcase Brazilian national colors while also paying homage to Bach. This performance will feature the first and fifth movements of the suite. The first is arranged for eight cellos, while the fifth introduces vocal singing, blending lyrical melodies with passionate exuberance.

Spanish composer Manuel De Falla drew inspiration from the Greek myth of Psyche and Eros to create Psyche, a work for mezzo-soprano, flute, strings, and harp. The intricate musical atmosphere evokes a sense of vintage nostalgia.

American composer Andrew Norman's work Gran Turismo for eight violins is deeply influenced by visual arts. The piece, inspired by video games and futurist painting, intertwines tight contrapuntal lines, presenting a vivid and dynamic musical landscape.

In contrast, French composer Gabriel Fauré's Piano Quartet No. 2 in G minor exudes a rich emotional depth while radiating the charming romanticism of France.
