For over five years, tenor Maximilian Mayer and baritone Daniel Gutmann have been going down a storm on international stages and German-language television as a charismatic vocal duo – with their regular appearances on the TV show Brettl-Spitzen on Bayerischer Rundfunk, for instance. Both are successful opera singers with impressive solo careers – but when they perform together, something unique happens: a musical dialogue full of wit, warmth and Viennese spirit. As a duo they sing Wienerlieder, operetta songs and musical rarities. Their repertoire ranges from charming classics such as “Im Prater blüh’n wieder die Bäume” to major Strauss waltzes such as “Ja, das alles auf Ehr”.
