Song of the Stars with the Swedish Radio Choir

The Swedish Radio Choir fills Storkyrkan with music that moves between quiet mystery and radiant splendour under the direction of Marc Korovitch. The program ranges from Hector Villa-Lobo's Bach-inspired Bachianas Brasileiras No. 9 – where the choral sound is woven into the dream of the prelude and the drive of the fugue – to Jan Sandström's Missa la Casa de la Madre y el Niño, a work with both intimacy and power. Anselm Ferrer's timeless Ave Maria follows, before the concert culminates in Enrique Granado's Cant de les estrelles – a song of the stars that opens the room to the night sky.
