| Canadian Brass |
Canadian Brass quintet performs highlights of Bach’s diverse catalog, reimagined for brass along with unique arrangements like “Well Tampered Bach,” which includes BeBop Bach, Cool Bach, and Dixie Bach. The evening also includes selections from other well known Bach compositions including selections from the Goldberg Variations, Italian Concerto, and some of his most well-known overtures.
Each Canadian Brass performance is full of entertainment, spontaneity, virtuosity, and fun. A brass quintet formed in 1970, Canadian Brass introduces audiences to repertoire written and arranged for brass quintet; with a discography of over 130 albums, Canadian Brass is a pioneer in bringing brass music to audiences everywhere.
