The Independent has hailed young British pianist Benjamin Grosvenor as 'one in a million – several million'.

He continues to build a magnificent international career; when he performed at the Last Night of the Proms in 2015, the Telegraph marvelled at his 'unimaginable brilliance'.

In this concert he performs a varied selection of enchanting virtuoso masterworks.
He opens with the filigree delicacy of Mozart in the Sonata in B flat, K.333, then presents Chopin’s Sonata No.2, a visionary work celebrated for its famous Funeral March.

The second half embarks on colourful travels: first to Russia with Scriabin’s heady and atmospheric Sonata No.2, into the vivid Spanish soundworld of Granados and, to close, with the Rhapsodie espagnole by Liszt, which reaches supreme heights of pianistic display.
