Cantabile: Take My Hand

The upcoming special chamber concert »Cantabile« is entitled »Give Me Your Hand«. The programme will feature works by Mozart, Humperdinck and Johann Strauss, and in keeping with tradition, the audience will once again be invited to join in when well-known folk songs and popular hits by the Comedian Harmonists call for sing-along. This accessible format welcomes all visitors who wish to enjoy a relaxed and light-hearted morning of classical music. In close cooperation with the Alzheimer Stiftung Bamberg e. V., the programme and concept of this hosted concert have been adapted to meet the needs of people with dementia and others who are unable to attend a regular concert due to a disability or impairment. A wind and string ensemble from the Bamberg Symphony, together with pianist and singer Beate Roux, invite you to enjoy a colourful musical bouquet and to join in the music-making. We look forward to welcoming a diverse concert audience to the Hegelsaal at the Bamberg Concert Hall for a colourful musical morning.
