A Lieder duo with few peers offers a tribute to the Austrian poet Nikolaus Lenau (1802-50). As well as works from the Romantic period, they include recent settings by the leading Swiss oboist, conductor and prolific composer Heinz Holliger, who wrote his ‘24 Sentences by Nikolaus Lenau’ in 2009-12; tonight’s performers gave the work its première in Zurich in 2013.

Tickets will be on general sale from 1st November.
