TicketsGihoon Kim beguiled audience and jury alike with his wholehearted, first-prize-winning performance in the final of the 2021 BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition. The South Korean baritone’s career trajectory has since taken him to the world’s foremost opera stages. He makes his long-awaited Wigmore Hall debut with songs by Rachmaninov, the four Don Quichotte Chansons written in 1932 for the legendary Feodor Chaliapin, and three nostalgic contemporary kagok from Kim’s homeland.
