Our Chamber concert series at Hallé St Peter’s is a unique opportunity to get up close to the music and enjoy smaller groups of musicians performing incredible music in a more intimate setting.
Terence Judd-Hallé Award-winning pianist Lukas Sternath joins members of the Hallé for one of the greatest piano quintets ever written. The rich, powerful sound in Brahms’s dramatic and emotionally intense work perfectly matches the weight of the strings and the piano.
Lukas will also give a solo performance of Schubert’s popular Moments Musicaux. Split into six movements, each one provides a snapshot of a different mood, feeling or emotion, reflecting the beauty and sadness of everyday life.
