Older works by leading figures such as Crawford Seeger and Feldman form a background to newer pieces by another JACK violinist based on a medieval source, a 2015 work by the Californian Gabriella Smith (born 1991) and another by the Turkish-American Cenk Ergün (born 1978), written for the ensemble in 2014-5.
