For four nights this October, step out of Covent Garden and into another world. Lamplight Concerts™ transforms the spectacular 400-year-old Actors’ Church into a glowing landscape of one-of-a-kind lamps, intimate pools of dynamic light and live music.
Part concert, part immersive art installation, the setting is created by The Prop Making Company’s Neil Darcy and Offie-nominated lighting designer Peter Small. At the heart of it all are Duo Atlantis, mezzo-soprano Rachel Payne and pianist Jack Tyndale-Biscoe, taking audiences on a one hour live journey through love, loss and light. In a world increasingly mediated by screens and algorithms, Lamplight offers something atmospheric, intimate and a little bit magical...and it's only happening for four nights this October.
About Lamplight Concerts
Lamplight Concerts is an immersive concert experience that reimagines classical song as a night out, staged amid a landscape of bespoke lamps and dynamic lighting. Created and directed by mezzo-soprano Rachel Payne, it makes its debut at St Paul's, the Actors' Church, in October 2026.
