The London Contemporary Orchestra return to Spitalfields this December to showcase three contemporary works. Vivier’s rarely heard work, Pulau Dewata captures the spirit of Bali and sets the scene for the world premiere of Suckling’s Concerto for Violin and Chamber Orchestra. Grisey’s late masterpiece Vortex Temporum completes the programme, exploring time as perceived by whales, humans, birds and insects.
