Video streamed event: Elizabeth Masoudnia & Friends

Elizabeth Masoudnia, solo English hornist of The Philadelphia Orchestra since 1995, makes her PCMS debut in the company of three other top orchestral players with deep ties to our city: current Orchestra violist and Philadelphia native Marvin Moon; Orchestra cellist Gloria dePasquale; and prominent Philadelphia violinist Mitchell Newman, formerly of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. The three works on the program with English horn (including one by PCMS co-founder Philip Maneval) all showcase Masoudnia’s “hypnotic and understated elegance” (Philadelphia Inquirer).
