Video streamed event and on demand: Jenny Lind – the Nightingale, the Voice and Her Life

The Royal Swedish Academy of Music invites guests to a celebration of the 200-year anniversary of the birth of global star Jenny Lind.

Music researcher Ingela Tägil will hold a discussion with singer and president of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music Susanne Rydén and moderator Sven Kristersson on the voice and singing technique, and what it is like as a singer to live with one’s instrument inside of the body. This year’s Jenny Lind Scholarship recipient Tessan-Maria Lehmussaari and pianist Silja Levander will perform.

In collaboration with the Jenny Lind Society, this Resounding Academy will be part of the Jenny Lind birthday celebration on 6 October 2020.
