Constellation of Longing

An ancient legend tells of seven heavenly sisters whose secrets shone brighter than the stars themselves. When one of them reveals the secret of her forbidden feelings, irreversible changes take place in the heavens. Between love and loss, between light and disappearance, a poetic tale unfolds, telling the story of a force stronger than time, death and heaven itself.

The world premiere of Constellation of Longing is brought to life by composer Ēriks Ešenvalds, choreographer Milana Komarova, set designer Ivars Veinbergs, costume designer Kristīne Pasternaka, video designer Roberts Rubīns and lighting designer Reinis Smiltenis.
