Vevey Spring Classic brings world-class music to the heart of Switzerland’s Riviera every spring, offering an inspiring week of concerts, masterclasses, and musical encounters on the shores of Lake Geneva.
From May 6 to 12, 2026, renowned international artists, emerging talents, and young prodigies come together in a celebration of excellence, mentorship, and artistic exchange in some of Vevey’s most beautiful venues. From full-length evening concerts with big and smaller formations and open rehearsals, the Festival showcases classical music in a spirit of openness and discovery.
Founded by cellist Daniel Müller-Schott and conductor Wilson Hermanto, Vevey Spring Classic also champions the next generation through its strong focus on mentorship and education – a living expression of transmission as heritage. Blending creativity, exchange, and discovery, the Festival offers an unforgettable musical experience on the Swiss Riviera.
The Vevey Spring Classic takes place in some of Vevey’s most beautiful venues, each offering a unique atmosphere where music and art meet in perfect harmony.
The Salle del Castillo, a historic hall with elegant architecture, serves as the Festival’s main stage. The Musée Jenisch, renowned for its art collections, hosts our lunch time chamber music concerts. Meanwhile, the Théâtre Le Reflet, a modern and welcoming venue in the city center, offers an ideal setting for our big concerts.
Together, these venues reflect the spirit of Vevey — a town where heritage, creativity, and emotion come together to celebrate the art of classical music.
The festival takes place in Vevey, the lakeside Swiss town renowned for its artistic heritage, cosy and welcoming atmosphere nestled between the Alps and Lake Geneva.
Vevey is easily accessible by train, car, or boat. The town lies on the main railway line between Lausanne and Montreux, close to the A9 motorway.
The nearest airport, Geneva Airport, is about one hour away.
Vevey offers a range of welcoming hotels, including the hotels « des Trois Couronnes***** » and « du Lac***** » overlooking the lake, as well as the « Astra Hotel**** » and « Hôtel des Négociants*** » in the town centre. As the Vevey Spring Classic takes place in spring, the weather is generally mild and pleasant. There is no formal dress code, but smart casual wear is recommended for concerts and events.
