Video a la carta: Harp Master Class with Anneleen Lenaerts: R. Strauss’s “Dance of the Seven Veils” from Salome

The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra’s principal harpist Anneleen Lenaerts coaches harpist Sonia Bize on an excerpt from R. Strauss’s “Dance of the Seven Veils” from Salome, Op. 54. 

To complement their performances at Carnegie Hall, select members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra led master classes on March 1, 2019. Participating young artists—alumni of Carnegie Hall’s National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA) and NYO2—had the opportunity to perform and work with these world-renowned musicians in a one-on-one setting in Carnegie Hall’s Resnick Education Wing.
