The orchestra doesn't miss a beat in opening the season with a substitute conductor Charles Dutoit and a dashing new artist-in-residence in Daniil Trifonov. 

Martha Argerich returns to the Enescu Festival for one of the pillars of her repertory, Prokofiev's Third Piano Concerto, in a buoyant performance. 

Born in the small town of La Unión, the young Colombian is the newly appointed assistant conductor at Orchestre de la Suisse Romande – and is going places at speed.

The 2023–24 season at Lugano’s LAC boasts a wide range of orchestral and chamber offerings, including visits from Martha Argerich, Ton Koopman, Riccardo Chailly and Grigory Sokolov.
