Occupying a unique niche in the dance world, MOMIX brought Alice back to New York’s Joyce Theater. It’s an uneven ride, with many visual thrills and stretches of material too lightly sketched. 

If dance is meant to be a mix of art and entertainment, MOMIX occasionally tipped too far into the “pure entertainment” part.
