Obra: Violin Concerto in D major, RV 234 "L'inquietudine"

Anna Maria della Pietà may not be the most celebrated violinists in history, but she inspired Antonio Vivaldi to write some of his finest concertos, two of which were heard in this tribute to three of the Red Priest's muses. 

Jeanette Sorrell and her Cleveland Baroque band Apollo’s Fire are renowned for their inventive programming and “A Night at Bach’s Coffeehouse”, with guest soloist Alina Ibragimova, deftly offered a balanced musical diet.
