Johann Strauss Jr's hilarious and extraordinary musical romp Die Fledermaus leads us through the misunderstandings and mishaps of an extravagant cast of characters brought to life by talented RCM singers and conductor Michael Rosewell.

Still embarrassed after being left drunk in the street dressed as a bat, Dr Falke wants revenge on his friend Gabriel von Eisenstein, but with everyone in disguise at a masked ball where the champagne flows freely, anything could happen!

To direct this production, the Royal College of Music is thrilled to welcome back renowned opera director John Copley CBE, who has worked atmost of the world’s major opera houses, and in 2012 celebrated his 50th year working as a director for The Royal Opera.
